24 Heures Motos kicks off
The 60 teams competing in the 24 Heures Motos – the second round of the FIM EWC 2016-2017 championship – have set up on the Bugatti circuit at Le Mans.
The teams and riders competing in the 24 Heures Motos have been focusing today on pre-race technical and administrative checks. The machines will hit the track tomorrow (Thursday), when official free practice gets underway at the 40th edition.
Before the first face-off tomorrow, with all eyes glued to the timesheets, the first on-track encounter has just taken place on the Bugatti circuit. All the riders expected to be at the start posed for a group photo on the pit straight in the late afternoon.
Free practice starts at 10am tomorrow, Thursday 13 April.
