The 2nd-fastest Superstock and 7th past the finish line, BMRT 3D Maccio Racing walked away with the €4,000 cash prize awarded to the winner of the EWC Dunlop Independent Trophy at the 8 Hours of Slovakia Ring. They beat Moto Ain and Wójcik Racing Team 2 to the top spot in the EWC Dunlop Independent Trophy for this race, in which €20,000 worth of prizes were distributed to the 10 fastest Dunlop-shod teams.
After an epic 8-hour battle filled with drama, YART Yamaha emerged the winners on the Slovakia Ring, ahead of Suzuki Endurance Racing Team and F.C.C. TSR Honda France. SERT now lead the world rankings.

32 teams will take to the track tomorrow (Thursday) for the opening free practice session at the 8 Hours of Slovakia Ring. The third round of the 2018-2019 FIM EWC is the halfway point of a hotly contested season.
