The provisional entry list of 60 competitors for the 2019 24 Heures Motos has been released. The 39 full-season FIM EWC participants make up the bulk of the squads entering the fray on the Bugatti circuit at Le Mans on 20 and 21 April.
Motors Events will have a new trio of riders lining up on the grid at Le Mans. Frenchmen Johan Nigon and Adrien Ganfornina will partner with British racer James Westmoreland to ride the Suzuki #50, a Superstock entry.
Another MotoGP rider has joined the Endurance ranks. Xavier Siméon is to ride for Yamaha Viltaïs Pierret Experiences for the remainder of the 2018-2019 season. The Belgian rider will partner with Florian Alt for the ambitious French team, who have moved up into the premier EWC class this season.
GERT56 engraved their name in the annals of Endurance by finishing 6th overall at the Bol d’Or last September and clinching the Superstock win. The BMW-mounted German squad are now seeking to accomplish another feat at the 24 Heures Motos and to win the 2018-2019 FIM Superstock World Cup.
