After a luckless 2022, 3ART Best of Bike began the 2023 FIM Endurance World Championship with a top 10 overall finish and the runner-up spot in the Dunlop Superstock Trophy in Le Mans last month.
Team newcomer Ludovic Cauchi joined Matthieu Lagrive and Martin Renaudin for the 24 Heures Motos with the Yamaha-powered team coming away with second-place points in the FIM Endurance World Cup.
But while Cauchi was taking part in his first 24 Heures Motos, Lagrive was competing for the 22nd time.
Afterwards the four-time EWC champion said: “Big thanks to Patrick Albert for the loan of his suit, without it I certainly wouldn't have been racing. The only concern was my brake problem after eight hours 50 minutes of racing and finally a magnificent second place. Many thanks to my talented and young team-mates and to all this beautiful family that is team 3ART Best of Bike for my 10th podium at this event.”
Prior to the 24H SPA EWC Motos from 16-18 June, Lagrive is set to compete in the famous Isle of Man TT Races from 29 May-10 June.
