Holland Motorstore Racing completed its maiden FIM Endurance World Cup campaign with a 100 per cent points-scoring record.

Having registered points in the 24 Heures Motos in April and the 24H SPA EWC Motos in June, the Dutch Yamaha-powered team finished last month’s Bol d’Or in 30th overall and 19th among the Dunlop Superstock Trophy squads.

For the Circuit Paul Ricard-based season decider from 14-17 September, Holland Motorstore Racing entered Netherlands trio Jaivy Eikelenboom, Xavier Van Duffelen and Martin Van Ruitenbeek.

The team’s social media post read: “Xavier took the start for a busy first stint. Everything looked good and we were steadily climbing the rankings. Unfortunately, around 1am, Jaivy gently fell, fortunately with relatively little damage but it led to a half-hour delay and a good result was far away because of that.

“Through the night things continued in the right direction and luckily we were able to take the flag with more points in our pocket.

“A huge thanks again to the whole team who helped us at all times and also a big thanks to all sponsors for their trust.”
