EWC team confident of Morais Le Mans fitness
Wójcik Racing Team is confident Sheridan Morais will be fit for the FIM Endurance World Championship season opener at Le Mans next month.
Morais, who turned 38 last Saturday, broke his left foot in a qualifying crash for the Daytona 200 in the USA last weekend. He is due to race for the Yamaha-powered Polish team in the 24 Heures Motos from 13-16 April.
Wójcik Racing Team posted on social media over the weekend the following message: “Shez is currently recovering from yesterday’s crash at Daytona Speedway, but he’ll be ready for the 24 Heures Motos”.
A post from South African-born Morais: “I must mend quickly now”.
