On the eve of the Bol d’Or, Honda France has announced a partnership with Japanese team F.C.C. TSR, three-time Suzuka 8 Hours winner, which has signed up since last season to race the entire FIM EWC.

F.C.C. TSR Honda France – the result of a tie-up between French importer Honda France and one of the top Japanese teams – has big ambitions in the FIM EWC. F.C.C. TSR Honda France’s riders Josh Hook, Alan Techer and Freddy Foray took third place on the starting grid of the Bol d’Or earlier today. The team is clearly gunning for a win.

F.C.C. TSR, one of the most high-performance teams in Endurance, intends to boost its commitment to the FIM EWC, which has two major races in France,’ says Fabrice Recoque, head of Honda France’s motorcycle division. ‘Honda France has a long racing history – our first Bol d’Or win dates back to 1969 – and we really want to get back into Endurance at the highest level. So this tie-up with F.C.C. TSR is self-evident. F.C.C. TSR Honda France is now well and truly back on the track to win races and the championship. Another reason we decided to return to Endurance is that, thanks to Eurosport Events, we now have a major championship.

Tune in at 3pm tomorrow (Saturday) to see F.C.C. TSR Honda France start the race from 3rd place on the grid on the Paul Ricard circuit.
