Eurosport Events and Garage TV have signed a broadcast agreement. The Spanish motor sport channel will broadcast the Pit Stop segment after each FIM EWC race in 2017.

Garage TV, a channel dedicated to motor sport featuring both two and four wheelers, will bring the FIM EWC world championship to Spanish TV audiences. Garage TV, which has a viewership of 15 million, is to broadcast the 23-minute Pit Stop segment after each of the FIM EWC races in 2017.

Next event on the FIM EWC calendar: the 24 Heures Motos on 15 and 16 April 2017.

F.C.C. TSR Honda rose from the depths of the standings to finish fifth at the 8 Hours of Oschersleben after fielding only two riders for nearly the entire duration of an epic race.

The American motorcycle champion had succombed to his injuries following a cycling accident on Wednesday 17 May in Italy.

Sixth past the finish line at the 8 Hours of Oschersleben, Moto Ain CRT won the Superstock class in Germany. The team also carried off the EWC Dunlop Independent Trophy, coming in ahead of Völpker NRT48 Schubert Motors by ERC and Tati Team Beaujolais Racing, to receive €4,000 worth of prize money.

After winning the 24 Heures Motos in April, GMT94 Yamaha secured victory at the 8 Heures of Oschersleben following an epic duel with YART Yamaha Official EWC Team. The two factory-backed Yamahas came in ahead of private team Maco Racing Team, also on a Yamaha.

The two factory-backed Yamahas are fighting the predicted duel at the 8 Hours of Oschersleben. GMT94 Yamaha and YART Yamaha Official EWC Team surged into the lead, and had been in a neck-to-neck battle for over five hours when a stop-and-go penalty slowed the French Yamaha.

What with two-rider stints and old injuries flaring up, the 8 Hours of Oschersleben is proving to be an uphill battle for some teams.
