SRC Kawasaki France takes over lead

After 16 hours of racing at the Bol d’Or, where the rule is to give bonus points to the 10 teams topping the rankings at this point, Team SRC Kawasaki France has pocketed the 10 points awarded to the leader. The squad moved into the lead at 2am and is currently a full three laps ahead of Suzuki Endurance Racing Team and Wepol Racing’s Yamaha.

The Bol d’Or is the opening race of the new 2018/2019 FIM EWC season. The 82nd edition of the race held on the Paul Ricard circuit in Castellet will be flagged off at 3pm on Saturday 15 September. Live coverage of the opening round of the endurance world championship will be broadcast on Eurosport 2 and on networks in many other parts of the world.
