Behind the scenes at Dunlop Motorsport

The FIM EWC is one of the few FIM championships to feature multiple manufacturers. Dunlop supplies tyres to more than 60% of the field, both factory and privateer teams. We met David Auerbacher and Wim Van Achter, Dunlop Motorsport’s two representatives in the endurance championship, to find out more about their dealings with the teams.

YART on pole at Most

YART–Yamaha Official EWC Team, the only team to have three riders come in under the 1:33 mark at Most today, claimed pole once again. The Austrian team were ahead of BMW Motorrad World Endurance Team and Yoshimura SERT Motul, the current standings leader.

BMW are first to score at Most

In free practice at the 6 Hours of Most this morning, BMW Motorrad World Endurance Team were ahead of YART–Yamaha Official EWC Team, F.C.C. TSR Honda France and Yoshimura SERT Motul. It was the first timed face-off between the teams on the Most circuit.

Run-up to the final at Most

The first track outing took place in the Czech Republic this afternoon. For most of the teams competing in the 6 Hours of Most, it was the first time on this challenging circuit which is hosting the final of the 2021 FIM EWC season on Saturday 9 October.

Tribute to Charles Roche

Charles Roche, a rider for Team Space Moto, passed away on Sunday evening in a car accident. Roche was a regular Endurance rider and took part several times in the 24 Heures Motos and the Bol d’Or.

Excellent new trio for Moto Ain

After a second-place finish at the Bol d’Or on 19 September, Moto Ain will head out on track at Most with a new rider trio who will once again be aiming for the podium. The Yamaha-mounted privateer team managed by Pierre Chapuis will have Randy Puniet partnering with Loris Baz and Corentin Perolari.

A novel duel for the title at Most

There is plenty at stake at the 6 Hours of Most, the FIM EWC 2021 final. On Saturday 9 October, there will be a battle for the title between a factory team and a privateer team, runner-up spots to win in both the EWC and Superstock class, and a new world endurance circuit to discover in the Czech Republic.

First time in Most

For most of the teams competing in the FIM EWC final on 9 October in the Czech Republic, it will be their first time on the Most circuit. Only a few riders are familiar with the challenging and spectacular 4,212-m track.
