Parassol announced his departure from Pitlane Endurance after two seasons to “discover new things”, leaving a vacancy that Hartog has now filled.

The nephew of Wil Hartog, a Grand Prix rider during the 1970s, 30-year-old Rob Hartog placed third in last season’s IDM (Internationale Deutsche Motorradmeisterschaft) German Superbike Championship.

Earlier in his career the Dutchman won the FIM European Supersport Cup in 2018 having claimed the European Junior Cup in 2012.
