The top 2 Superstock teams, GERT56 and Junior Team LMS Suzuki, are doing battle in the Top 10 after 5 hours of racing at the Bol d’Or.

Gert56 (BMW) and Junior Team Le Mans Sud Suzuki’s ongoing battle for the Superstock lead continues. They are lapping in 9th and 10th place respectively with a gap of only a few seconds separating them 5 hours into the race.

Tati Team Trick Star (Kawasaki) is holding on grimly to third place in the Superstock class, ahead of Team 18 Sapeurs Pompiers (Kawasaki) and JMA Motos Action Bike (Suzuki).

Two of the category’s crack shots are already out of the running. Team 33 Coyote Louit Moto (Kawasaki), the top Superstock on the starting grid, led the class in the early part of the race before returning to the pits with engine issues.

A broken gearbox forced Moto Ain (Yamaha) to throw in the towel nearly 3 hours into the race.

Energie Endurance has also withdrawn with a chassis damaged by the crash involving several bikes around 7pm caused by an oil spill from the YART Yamaha bike. The crash also affected AM Moto Racing Compétition, which has dropped back in the rankings.

Other teams ran into various problems: a pierced radiator in the case of Motors Events (Suzuki), electrical failure for Atomic 68 (Suzuki) and an electronics issue for Team 202 (Yamaha).
