Tati Team Beringer Racing recruits EWC step-up superstars Clere and Guittet
Hugo Clère and Baptiste Guittet are gearing up to transfer their pace and potential from the FIM Endurance World Championship’s Superstock category to the headlining Formula EWC division in 2023.
They have been signed by EWC podium-finishing Tati Team Beringer Racing to ride its #4 Kawasaki alongside existing rider Grégory Leblanc, a member of the line-up that scored a podium in the 24H SPA EWC Motos last June.
Frenchmen Clère (pictured) and Guittet were part of the Team 18 Sapeurs Pompiers CMS Motostore squad that secured the FIM Endurance World Cup title in 2022 with Clère also taking the prize during the 2019-20 season with Team Moto Ain.
“I am very pleased to announce my arrival [at Tati Team Beringer Racing] for the 2023 season in EWC,” Clèrewrote on Facebook. “I want to thank the whole team at Team 18 Sapeurs Pompiers CMS Motostore with whom I spent two great years [and won] a Superstock title.”
Team 18 Sapeurs Pompiers announced its 2023 EWC Superstock last month by confirming the arrival of Enzo De La Vega and Axel Maurin to partner Philipp Steinmayr last month.
