The 2011 and 2013 FIM Endurance World Cup winner Team April Moto Motors Events has really found its feet in the FIM EWC this season.

After its superb second place at the 24 Heures Motos in Le Mans, Team April Moto Motors Events is back in the forefront at the 12 Horas de Portimão. Having made an impact right from the outset in Portugal, with Gregg Black in command for a few laps, the Suzuki #50 has kept up the pace since the beginning of the race. But a few mechanical issues have now slowed it down. “We’ve dropped back at least a couple of laps because of a fuel tank change, followed by a puncture,” Hervé Moineau, team manager of Team April Moto Motors Events, explains. Even so, the Suzuki #50 is lapping in 5th place nine hours into the race, and the team is quite capable of getting even closer to the podium before the chequered flag appears.
