Anthony West is preparing for an FIM Endurance World Championship triple in 2023 following confirmation that he’ll contest the EWC’s three 24-hour races this season.

West, from Australia, has re-signed for Maco Racing Team, the Slovakia-based outfit he joined in 2021. Hungarian Bálint Kovács was confirmed as a Maco rider last week with the remainder of the Yamaha-powered attack to be revealed in due course.

The 41-year-old West posted on Facebook: “Some good news for 2023, I’ll be back racing for Maco Racing again, doing all three of the Endurance World Championship 24-hour races. Unfortunately, I won’t be racing in the Australian Superbike Championship this year due to lack of sponsorship.”
