Alan Techer has vowed to do all he can to complete the 2023 FIM Endurance World Championship season with the number one still on F.C.C. TSR Honda France’s entry.

Techer, who deputised for the injured Gino Rea during September’s Bol d’Or, was named as a full-time member of Masakazu Fujii’s title-winning team last month. He will link up with Mike Di Meglio and Josh Hook for the four-race EWC season, which begins with the 24 Heures Motos at Le Mans from 13-16 April.

“I am very happy to ride again with the Honda family and in F.C.C. TSR Honda France I have the pleasure to share with the team in the Bol d’Or and to win the world championship for the team,” said Techer, 28. “Now I am even more motivated and I would do my best to keep this #1 on the bike. Thank you to Fujii-san and to my team-mates for trusting me.”

Techer was part of the F.C.C. TSR Honda France line-up that won the EWC title during the 2017-18 season along with fellow Frenchman Freddy Foray and Australian Hook.
